If you are considering authoring an abstract for a poster presentation at the National Weather Association annual meeting in Madison, remember to submit your abstract by 5 AM CDT (10 UTC) Saturday, June 30th.

To submit an abstract for an poster presentation, complete the online form at http://www.nwas.org/2012abstracts.html.

Authors will find out about the whether their abstract has been accepted in the requested presentation format by July 20th.  Unfortunately, the program committee received approximately twice the number of requests for oral presentations as available slots, so tough decisions are currently underway.

Poster presenters will have the opportunity to submit a summary slide to be displayed immediately prior to the poster session where their poster is presented.  More information on this will be available soon.
