Student Group Registration Discounts Available for the NWA 2012 Annual Meeting

Students, if you have 6 or more students from your school who will be attending the 2012 NWA Annual Meeting, you are eligible for a group discount.

The discount is 20% off the normal preregistration rate of $170 for NWA student members and $250 for non-NWA student members for all meeting sessions (Sun – Thurs).   This includes all general sessions plus Sunday’s student session.   There are also special rates for attending only one or two days of the meeting and these rates would be eligible for the group discount.

After the preregistration period ends on September 7th, the rates will increase to $200 for student members and $295 for student non-members for all events, so early registration saves money.

If you are not a national NWA member, we highly encourage you join via the online member portal at http://www.nwas.org/membership/index.php before your group is registered for the annual meeting.  Student membership rates are economical at $18 per year.  So the cost for annual membership is less than the difference of member to non-member rates for the annual meeting. So basically it is cheaper to become a member than pay the non-member rates.

To take advantage of this offer, your association advisor or a student organizer such as a chapter president can contact Ruth Aiken, NWA Assistant Executive Director, at assist@nwas.org or via phone 919-845-7121 to arrange the logistics and payment. The payment will need to be in the entire amount for all attendees. Unfortunately we are not able to support online registration for this special offer at this time.
