Have you made your Hotel reservations for the 2012 NWA Annual Meeting yet?

Notices for acceptances of Oral and Poster abstracts were sent to the presenters on Friday July 20th. If you have not made your hotel reservations, you are encouraged to do so soon. The room blocks are filling up quickly. There are still NWA room rates available at the Concourse Hotel for Friday 10/5 through Wed Night 10/10 and the Best Western for Saturday 10/6 through Wednesday Night 10/10. The Hilton is completely booked; not only for the NWA room block but the entire hotel. A web search on the Hilton website said “no rooms were available.”

For more information about the Annual Meeting hotels and how to obtain the NWA room block rate, refer to the 2012 Annual Meeting website at http://nwa2012.com/hotels/

If you are having a difficult time finding a hotel room, another option is to see if you can share a room with a friend/colleague. Not only does this help with room availability but you can share/save in the hotel costs! We have a 2012 NWA Annual Meeting Facebook page. This is a great place to post if you are willing to share a room with someone or if you are looking for a roommate. The 2012 NWA Annual meeting Facebook page is http://www.facebook.com/nwa2012?ref=hl.  For those that would prefer to tweet, we also have a 2012 NWA Annual Meeting twitter account. It is https://twitter.com/NWAS2012. We are using the hashtag #NWAS12 for annual meeting information.

If you are still debating whether or not you plan to attend the 2012 Annual Meeting, while the agenda is still being finalized, a sneak peak at the presentations is available at http://nwa2012.com/2012/07/21/sneak-peek-the-talks/.

It is shaping up to be another excellent NWA Annual Meeting; you won’t want to miss it!
