Golfers, It’s Time To Bring Out The Clubs!!!

The NWA 10th Annual Scholarship Golf outing is on Saturday October 6, 2012 at the Yahara Hills Golf Course in Madison.

If you have not participated in an NWA Golf outing, it is a day filled of fun, camaraderie and of course the determination of bragging rights for the next year. 

The cost is $85 per golfer. This includes golf fees, a lunch and most importantly, a donation to the NWA Scholarship Fund. Teams of 4 will take the Greens. If you know who you would like to have in your foursome, great! When you email Betsy Kling, please provide the list of names for your team. If you do not already have a team, no problem, as Betsy will coordinate groups.

You do not need to be an “expert” golfer to participate. But for those who are avid golfers, some details about Yahara Hills Golf Course. It features 6,885 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 71.8 and it has a slope rating of 119 on Blue grass. It was designed by Arthur L. Johnson and opened in 1967.

 

Entrance to the course is conveniently located on US Hwy 12/18, eight tenths of a mile southeast of the junctions of Interstates 90/39 and US Hwy 12/18.  It’s about an 8 mile drive from Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center along US Hwy 151 to US Hwy 12/18.
