Looking for a unique way to explore Madison? Thanks to Madison Food Explorers, there is an entertaining way to explore this great city’s culinary delights, while learning about its history and architecture and getting some exercise! This is also a perfect activity for travel companions to do while the conference is in session.
Madison Food Explorers has designed two walking food tours: one that leads you from Lake Monona to Lake Mendota and another that takes you along historic Monroe Street. These tasting adventures allow you to sample delicious local dishes at several of Madison’s fine restaurants. Along the way, your guide will explain the history and architecture of Madison and share a few juicy stories about our city’s past and present. When the tour is completed, you will be well-fed, well-informed and well-entertained.
For more details on the walking tours and to reserve your spot, go to the Madison Food Explorers webpage at www.madisonfoodexplorers.com.
Tours are available for 1 person up to 16. Larger private tours are also available. If you would like assistance creating private tours, please feel free to contact Andrea Hughes at (608)444-3050.
